NFL Schedule Makers Try Their Best to Please Everybody

BULLSHIT!

@ Green Bay 2012
@ Green Bay 2010
@ Green Bay 2009
vs. Green Bay 2006
@ Green Bay 2003
vs. Green Bay 2002
@ Green Bay 2000

That's a whole lot of @'s right there. JK, where to play is most likely part of the formula on who to play. It just sounds unfair. I'm sure we'll turn it, if we can by winning.

That's interesting and not very "fair" it seems

yeah it does seem like we only play up there? 'no tears', we just play who we play, play where we play.

if the Packers play better and win, fine. as long as we don't play poorly.

Of all the opponents, Chicago scares me the most. Cutler, Marshall and Forte will be a force. Throw that in with a defense led by Peppers, Urlacher and Briggs... while punting to Hester. They seem like on paper and the promise of living up to past reputation, they'll be the most complete team in the NFL next year.

Seems like I overlooked the importance of a good offensive line.

They don't really scare me as much after GB punked their LT, and took full advantage of our old nemesis Chilo Rachal.

Said this in another thread, but since this was bumped, I'll restate it here. I voted 13-3 because I was an optimist, but assumed 12-4. I assumed we'd split the GB/DET games, but now having won them both, 13-3 is now my non-optimistic expectation (barring significant injuries). 14-2 is too optimistic and too early so far, but possible. If we are undefeated going into the bye, we should then expect 14-2. Of course, sometimes reality isn't true to expectations, but that sounds reasonable to me. Some people looked at our schedule and predicted doom, but you have to realize we don't play them all at the same time. We get to prepare and take one game at a time. I don't think we'll have many letdowns, despite the fact we could have a game like the Arizona game last year. Just ask the Patriots. (I feel bad for the kicker because he wouldn't have had much venom against him if Arizona didn't fumble at the end.)
