Very true! So far it is a family tradition that as a senior their school wins the championship.
My son graduated Kansas in '08 - they won it all that year.
My oldest daughter graduated UConn last year - they won it all.
My youngest will be a senior next year at Texas - we shall see.

This year we are both 11 Seeds (Texas and UCLA) and the Horns are in Kentucky's bracket. Kentucky just kicked our asses so bad early in the year.

It had to be the worse ass kicking I've ever seen in CBB!

Texas hung in there pretty well for a good while against Kentucky. It was tied at the half but about mid-way thru the second half Kentucky started to take off and won by 12.

My school is in, but I have always wondered this: say your team makes the Tourney as a First Four game but loses and doesn't make the round of 64, do you still consider it making the tournament? Technically it is, but to me, making the Tournament is playing on Thursday or Friday.

As a fan, i don't consider play-in games to be making the tourney. If i were a player or coach, I definitely would.
