I figured I would stop there. Honestly at this point even just in a handful of snaps I don't see how Kubiak could even think about going back to Schofield. Schofield is supposed to be the better run blocker of the two but I would say Polumbus did a great job in both pass and run blocking. I don't think Polumbus is going to be some All-Pro RT for us by any means. What we might see though is going from worst player at the RT position to an average player at the RT position by having him there. I was very impressed especially as the game went on with his pass blocking. He seemed to get more comfortable and aggressive in really going and meeting the pass rusher instead of letting them pick up some speed and then make a move.
Now I know Kubiak has the fatal flaw at times of being too loyal to a player. I really hope this is not one of those situations because Polumbus to me is beyond the clear choice and should have been at the position a month ago.
