Poll: A dilemma

Prior to the playoffs starting this year, I set up a playoff mode in NHL 11 mirroring the standings of the actual NHL playoffs. I have been playing the Flyers/Sabres series prior to every game. And every game I won, the Flyers lost. And every game I lost, the Flyers won.

This brings me to my dilemma. I'm going to play game 7 today. But should I throw it? I mean, wouldn't that be bad karma? Trying to "game" the system, as it were? Tell me what I should do? I could up the difficulty, I could throw the game, I could play it and hope I lose, but the first two smack of cheating to me and I don't want to piss off the hockey gods on the eve of a game 7. So what do you guys think?

Play the game normally and see what comes of it. At least you'll know what the outcome of the real game will be before you even watch it.

Well, I played the game normally. We'll see how it turns out compared to the actual game.

Somehow, though, I don't see any commercials coming out of this one.
