Playoffs or off-season?

A friend posed this question to me (he's an Eagle's fan) and I had to really think about it before answering. While it is possible for this team to get on a nice postseason run it's not probable, but the promises of a near future run comes with great off-season moves. So, I'm curious, which excites you more?

I said off season because no matter how far we progress this post season , the off season offers a chance at perennial contenders status .

This doesn’t preclude me from being excited about the playoff game(s) either . You have to be happy with what is going down

Yep! We built the foundation this year and the team and FO has done a great job. Lots more building to do. Tougher schedule next year and although we were good this year we were probably a little lucky in a few games.

This team now is more exciting. It is a week. The offseason is months of boredom mixed with about 6 days of entertainment.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about Sunday, but the playoffs in general, I'd say the word that best describes me is "curious."

I can't wait until until March and April. Definitely more "excited" about the off-season.

If Kliff leaves, that would change a lot for me though.

I am not worried about KK. There are plenty of OC’s who would love to work with JD

I just need KK to give me one more year. I want to see Jayden with the same structure for two years straight and some weapons.

I'm more excited about the off season. We will lose this game, unless the refs cheat or someone from the BUCS gets injured. The off season presents many unknowns. Surprise signings, re signings, the draft...and hopefully winning the big games we lost last year and hosting a playoff geme

I think Sunday comes down to the health of Lattimore and Biadasz. Can they somewhat neutralize Evans and Vea. I'm with you though, we have a playoff game Sunday and I'm already doing mock drafts, looking at upcoming free agents and monitoring the Myles and Garrett Wilson situations.

I think this game will come down to turnovers and Baker had 16 picks. I expect Lattimore to effectively shutdown Evans and come away with a pick. I also think Mikey will get one, and I think my boy Bucky will cough one up.

I love the optimism you both have, but we look like a boxer who lost the match but made it all 12 rounds. Lattimore isn't healthy so he's not going to shut Mike down this time. But i expect a excellent career moving forward. Bucky has been carrying the team, hes not going to suddenly stop now. Jayden may have some magic left Sunday, so like i said, if we beat the Bucs Sunday, i think we will now lose in the conference championship

I don't think we'd be able to get both. Not enough draft capital. I'd love to trade for Myles and sign Tee though. Lol

I love Bucky. He was a very pleasant addition to my fantasy team this season but I just gotta feeling Chinn is gonna knock one out on him.

As for Jayden, I think the depleted TB secondary is going to really hurt them.

The draft is not as weak as i thought. And although im not sure how strong FA is, from what we did this year, its proof the right fit trumps talent

You're not concerned about what Baker is doing with his legs when everything is covered? Someone has got to step up on offense for us, it can't just be Ertz and TMAC

Baker will run for a couple first downs. I just think he will throw two picks. I also expect both teams to score more than 30.
