I disagree. It is part of the game. You can’t go high, you can’t go low, you can’t land on people…the game has become completely ridiculous.

It is the QBs responsibility not to get his players hurt.
While I can agree with the above, the QB had nothing to do with this particular injury. Being part of the game, yes. This particular style of tackling is definitely leading to knee injuries.

The QB absolutely did as he threw over the middle. He TE also had a responsibility because he bobbled the pass causing him not to be able to defend himself. Sorry but when you take away the high hit, you force the low hit, and before you claim he can hit him in the middle, no he can’t because WRs frequently bend down after having the ball in their hands causing helmet to helmet contact.

This particular style only occurs because they reduced the target area for a tackle.

The NFL's powers that be don't see it that way. I don't think the shit stops unless/until a defensive player takes the NFL to court.

40 -50 years ago hits to the knee were a lot more common place. They changed the crack back block because Charley Taylor was so good at it and was wrecking knees left and right.

Gayle Sayers career was change forever by a hit to the knee. The NFL won't change because they are afraid of more court cases for CTE.

Todd Bowles is a professional head coach. He was asked by a reporter about playing in frigid temps in Detroit. My goodness, they let anyone be a beat reporter for teams these days.

That was a shockingly stupid question. The coach's response should have been something like "well, since Detroit plays in a dome, the weather won't be factor. That was such a stupid question, you don't get another one. In fact, just leave now."

When the defenses stop going for a tackle and just allows the offensive player to skate…when it hurts the product or we stop watching, it will change.

Ron Rivera is the Wylie coyote of the NFL, he drafted Forbes for the long-term change that you've pointed out!

All I'm going to say is the target area should be the belt buckle, head on football. I understand why most DB's do it, they are scared of getting trucked and future $.

Stroud is playing with house money at this point of his career, whereas Jackson needs this one more because he has a pretty stellar track record but is missing that one definitive piece. I love what Stroud is doing but, I'm pulling for Lamar.

This is a great matchup! Win or Lose will depend on how Houston's young guys play to include Stroud. I do believe the Texans have a chance.

I'm hoping Lamar wins it all. He's proved thus far resigning him was the right move. He's a likeable guy. He's ugly but a great guy

Daniels seems to have a similar skill set. It's why I want Daniels.
