he's banking on the eternal rule of the Bengals, that they are the Bengals.

you get poised to do something and your #1 draft pick star QB gets his leg snapped by one of your old players.

it looks like your going to have a good defense and someone crashes his car and can no longer be an athlete. it looks like your going to have a reasonably good passing attack and your long threat WR jumps out of a truck. We're the Bengals, sooner or later a blind squirrel finds a nut, unless he's wearing orange and black.

now, let me here a WHO DEY, WHO DEY WHO DEY THINK GONNA BEAT THEM BENGALS

Well hello ATL...Cincy

I agree...Even though if we lose in Detroit our chances are slim I see a Pitt win Sunday night...

I bet many people said that last year, too. Yet the Bengals won, despite a not so great day by Dalton. This defense is better, pitt overall is worse...You're just reaching now, because you know a loss in Detroit and a win by Miami puts Baltimore squarely on the bubble. The last thing Baltimore wants is to come into Cincy with the #2 or #1 seed on the line for Cincinnati, and Baltimore needing a win to get into the playoffs. The seeding would mean you'll see the starters the entire game...considering how well the Bengals have played at home, and how poorly the Ravens have played on the road...statistically speaking...that doesn't bode well at all.

You guys won last year, and you can keep bringing this point up again and again, and yet it will change NOTHING about 2013. That team was a much better team on offense, Rice could still actually ru more than 3 yards without falling down and Boldin was a key player, especially in the playoffs. Also the line hasn't been the same since birk retired this year, and it has further deteriorated.

So, go ahead and keep jerking off to your lombardi poster from 2012, while the rest of us watch the NFL that is being played now in 2013.

I am using history as my guide and it does not favor Cincy. Also, its December and Dalton is anything but clutch and Pittsburgh has its pride. I would rather play NE twice then once against the Steelers at home in Pitt in December . Especially when they can impact your season like they can. Its not me thats reaching u are acting as if Cincy is a guarantee in Pitt when its usually the other way around.Did u hit your head?

Pitt wins.:yahoo:

Pittsburgh has lost to Tennessee, Miami, and Chicago at home this season. One more won't hurt.

I agree with that. However, can you agree that Pitt,Bal,Cincy, have a general disdain for each other and I can see the best game of the year from Pittsburgh on a national stage.

This is a big statement game for Pittsburgh at home.

The confidence by u is refreshing. After the playoffs last year I Thot u guys might fold up the tent.

we shall see what happens in Detroit...but I know what's going to happen in Pitt..ur a** is going to get kicked. remember we won tr Lombardi last year and are the reining champs it goes a long way u can some play it if u want but as a Cincy fan u have no idea.

If u don't take the division it's a failure and if our teams play in the playoffs we smoke u. Book it.:agree:

What the hell does this even mean? Aside from the fact that it's clearly not written in English (or any other accepted form of communication), it really doesn't make any logical sense? A 'fan' of a particular team can only have some idea about what is going to happen in a future game IF the team they root for has won a championship?

And good lord.... We get it.... The Ravens won the SB last year. Half this board was rooting for them for f's sake. Why does this need to be mentioned in every post?

Hammerdown -- Can we ban idiots?

Yawn. I dont mention it in every post but u sure are worried about it it seems...not my problem. Im talking football and unless u r delusional or only ur short term memory is working the Pittsburgh Steelers are in our division. For u to dismiss that means u r either a complete homer or an idiot urself...

I get it if somebody doesnt sit in on your little circle-jerk or agree Cincy is dominant which they are not then they dont get it...Gotcha. :laugh3:

What did I say about the Steelers? I have them winning this weekend.

It won't matter because Baltimore will lose in Detroit and the Bengals will clinch the division against Minny the next week.

Grad, you're wasting your time. This is the same guy who thinks that Pitta is as good as Gronk and will take the Ravens into another tier of scoring. He's the missing link on their offense, and now the Ravens have the almighty Pitta back, they are to be feared by one and all.

I guess we will wait and see... I have Cincy losing this week in Pitt while Bal is a toss up with the Almighty Pitta playing.

@Cincyfan... What I said and you misunderstood is that with Boldin traded Pitta was going to fill that role then he got injured and we had ZERO mid-level threat and teams played the run or deep bc of Torrey Smith. Now we have Pitta back and that is huge for us he is/was our mid-yardage threat and Flaccos favorite receiver and a big 3rd down threat that we have back.

Just my view u have every right to disagree..it is what it is.

Indeed, but we want the #2 seed...maybe the #1 seed if Denver slips up again.

Why can't the supermods simply lock down this thread and get rid of bozo?

Wait..uh, oh...I guess I shouldn't question "the autority"...something might happen.

Remember the days when people didn't get so butthurt?

Thats big talk from a fan of a team that hasnt won a playoff game since 1981.

I think Cincy has a good team this year im not convinced they can wrap up the division or win a playoff game. In fact I am convinced if the Ravens played the Bengals in the playoffs you watch us play the next week from your couch.

You seem to have a problem with me thinking my team can win I guess I just think in Cincy its business as usual...big words leading to playoffs then a swift kick in the rear out. :laugh3:

What makes you think Cincy can do it? I dont think they stand a chance in Pitt this week.. Pittsburgh is proud and on a national stage....

OH wait...that's cute. YOu think coming into Cincy and winning a game is business as usual?

Sorry...you are not the steelers in this department.

2012 - @Cin; Loss
2011- @Cin; Win
2010- @Cin; Loss
2009- @Cin; Loss
2008- @ Cin; Win
2007- @ Cin; Loss
2006- @ Cin; Loss
2005 @ Cin; Loss

Winning in Cincinnati has hardly been business as usual for the Rat Birds since 2005, when the Bengals started putting together some pretty decent runs/teams under Marvin Lewis.

But you go ahead and think that your 2-6 record at PBS is "business as usual" for you guys...just realize that business as usual in Cincinnati usually means the Ravens are losing.
