I recall the 1960 World Series where the Yanks bludgeoned the Parrots 3 times and lost the other 4 games.
So numbers are what they are and over 162, it levels out. I do think the negative total the Reds have for runs is related to their inability to score .... History shows that teams with a negative run total almost never win anything.
But giving up 171 runs is kind of scary even if the venue is often GABP.
