Good chance on all of them except Huff, he's staying and you know this.

Zito is hard to figure. Sanchez likely traded but not a lock. Torres may stick as a 4th OF. All the others? Buh bye.

This is edging up on Marcus style pantshattery. Huff will be here; Fonty may be kept as a backup; Torres will probably be a 4th/5th OF and Zito's contract is too large to simply eat.

He is not making a prediction. He is saying who he WANTS gone.

All of us are in mourning. That is understandable, but dont eat your own, tz...

For what it's worth, I read the original post as, "I hope we get rid of these fuckers." Perhaps that's not what he meant.

In times like these, there is a fine line I guess between venting frustration and pantshatting. All I know is that when I am in mourning, the frustration posts don't bug me at all. The pantshatting/crazy negativity posts drive me crazy.

Not a single player Pack mentioned is a new name. EVERY one of them has been mentioned by just about everyone here as a target to leave, in one manner or another.

Yup, there is a difference between predicting the Giants will finish third when they are 17 games over .500 and playing well, and mourning the Giants' complete lack of a viable offense as they go 12-23 in August and September. And all the grief that gets spilled on the non-performers, and the stubborn manager who refuses to play anyone but the fading/faded vets, hoping they will turn it around after 140 games. :L

Worst of it is, it's not totally out of the question that they WON'T finish third! And we know that cocksucker was right about the Giants not winning the division. Yes I know he's a clock stopped at 'Giants suck' so any year they fail to win a ring he can say he was 'right' but it still galls me. I was so sure we'd find a way. We all were. We were wrong.

:hurt: :tsk:

Yep. Closer to the Dodgers in the standings now than the D-Backs.

A little negativity is healthy sometimes. We have plenty reason to be negative now. A little venting is alright. Anyway, the franchise is still strong and we'll be contenders again next year. We still have a lot to be happy about.

A 1 year drought is a lot easier to deal with than a 23 year drought :)

Edit: Sorry, that was supposed to be quoting Jingo's post...

Still applies though!

This year's epic fail is a lot easier to swallow seeing as though we are only going to be in a 1 year drought.

I would actually be pissed if Huff or Ross are discarded. These are World Series heroes you're talking bout! What have you done for me lately?! "Oh I dunno won a world series for your downtrodden organization you muthatruckas?" Fact. Free pass in my book.

I would not want to see Sanchez go either unless he brings a legitimate bat, but even at that he is an outstanding #5 a very good #4 and a good #3 in a rotation so I want him in the rotation next season as our #4/5.

Especially because I think Zito's days are numbered with us and it would be difficult to replace 2/5ths of the rotation in one offseason. They might give Zito one more crack out of sheer "well what the fuck else can we do?" but this guy is a steaming pile and everyone including Sabean Bochy and Neukom (even Zito) knows it. They won't allow him to embarrass them much longer.

They cut a $13million player without blinking they can cut an $18million waste just the same. Holding on any longer looks just pathetic at this point.

I love Cody for what he did last year and I think he seems like a really nice guy, but he is blocking the development of young players and really stinking up the place with his play.

I would happily pay him a few million to hang around the club, and get the networks to show footage of him owning the scum, as long as he never goes up to the plate.

Knowing BB though that is not possible so he NEEDS to go.

I agree. But why does he take BP with the Rangers?
