Player A- 24 PPG, 5.6 APG, and 4.5 RPG on 44% shooting and on 16.6 shots per game with a PER of 20.79

Player B- 20 PPG, 5 APG, and 5 RPG on 54% shooting and on 14.5 shots per game with a PER of 22.62

Also take into consideration that Player B is a 2nd option while Player A is the top option.

Please don't look up the stats before giving your honest opinion

Are we talking shooting PG 1st option or a 2-5 first option? I want turnover stat too.

And player A as the first option.

2-5 first option.

Player A avg 4 turnovers per game while player B avg 3.3 turnovers

I'll take player B just because he is obviously the more efficient player and his numbers would probably be better than Player A most likely if he was the top option on his team.

Ok, player B. The extra points I do not think is worth the extra shots and .7 TOs, if he were a PG creating for every body that would swing my vote despite not wanting a shoot first PG so much.

Who are the players?

and MPG?

Ok, if you do their stats per the same number of minutes per game, either 36 or 48 (B plays 89% of the minutes that Player A does) Bs numbers are much better.

"much better" is a little strong, slightly better but enough to be cut and dry, imo

I'll reveal it since no one else seems interested.

Player A is James Harden and Player B is D-Wade

1st, wow I probably could have figured that out hahaha and considering Wade's D is miles ahead of Harden's the only thing that would be a question is if Wade can play every other night in the playoffs at that level...which I think he can as long as he avoids bone bruises.

Also, this board has become ridiculously disinterested in intelligent discussion and debate (even ones that turn out to be thinly veiled trolls :D) and solely a board for trolling.

Knew player B was wade right away.

Factor in defense and he wins it running away.

Getting an extra 4 points a game while only taking 2 more shots? A push at REB and Assists? I don't really see a problem with Harden.

I still like DWade more but thats because of defense and the eyeball test.

Picked up my courtside Heat @ Portland tix today

2 tix with 2 vouchers for Moda Center Restaurant for $100 (each) pregame all with a concierge courtesy of Nike.

Will be sitting to Nike's head of Basketball shoes (forget name) and CEO / President Mark Parker.

Not that they know who the heck I am, but cool anyways.

Last years Heat game had same tix and it was awesome.

Player B

++++++++++++++++

Didn't see the answer had already been given. Surprising because if you had just asked me by name I would have taken Harden.

Most people would take Harden by name but I always said Wade is the more efficient player by far. Harden struggles to shoot 45% yearly while Wade is always around 50% yearly and he is usually the top guard in PER. In addition to that Wade is a much better defender as well. Wade would still be a 25, 7, and 5 guy if he was the man on his team like Harden is.

if they played the same minutes they would both take the same shots.

and I thought about this again and on offense it is a lot closer, Wade has the benefit of LBJ, Bosh and shooters on the floor to help him when he has the ball, Harden does not have those luxuries.

I bet Harden would look much better if he had more help, I would still take healthy Wade over Harden though for defensive purposes.

Harden quit playing defense when he left OKC. Not that he was ever a lock down defender but now he only plays D in short spurts.

Huh? Harden has a load of shooters. Sure he doesn't have LeBron. But he has the top center in the game. Bron being their for wade takes away from wades individual numbers but helps his efficiency and team winning.
