Yup I expect Presti to part with some picks, he will have to
Don’t want to do what Ainge did in Boston.

He was clearly successful landing Tatum and Brown and film flaming the 6ers with Fultz.

But, he also held assets to the point that he was cutting first round picks a year or two into their rookie contracts.

Agree.

Salary, age, skill set fit the Thunder timeline.

Not sure what the cost would be, which is why I mentioned Capela too.

He will be a free agent and they have to pay Okongwu.
Capela is a good name. I’ve always liked him because you have to respect him as a better lob threat than most as a 5. He would give them a better piece there at the offensive end which is a plus when you’re shopping a position fit that leans defense to help Chet. Bonus of Capela is a win win. You save draft picks for them to shop big fish in a trade if they want. And OKC was willing to be a luxury team back in the KD days, if they want to have that opportunity down the line, you overpay Capela now and get a high ticket expiring you can shop to keep yourself that salary leeway to maintain a great roster.

Yep. They almost can’t avoid it unless they engage in multiple trades with those assets. It’s just simple math that says role playing useful talent are going to be closely watched by other teams in hopes that OKC has no room.

Exactly.

Presti can go into a multitude of directions.

He has the benefit of having draft capital, cap space and tradable contracts like Dort.

Hey, did you happen to catch the stories about Siakam yesterday?

Rumor has it teams are not high on him as a trade target.

Gotta think it’s because the price to land him is so high.

Because, Dude can ball.

Might look good in a. 6er or Heat Uni next year if Toronto blows it up.

I’d love for the Sixers to shop that Toronto roster with the Harris expiring and depending upon the player Maxey. Maxey is worth it to get Siakam or Anunoby. I think Siakam fits great with Harden/Embiid but Anunoby fits better. I like the Siakam Bam Butler fit better than I like same pair with Dame. Butler’s best and Dame’s best is ball in their hands. One ball.

Agreed, even as much as Presti has he gets one real shot at this

For the series? I agree. Feels a lot like the last time they played the Nets. They lost game 1 and then won 4 in a row. Don’t get me wrong. I want a win today and they’re favored for a reason. If I’m betting it though, I take Nets and points.
They got this.

One shot yes…

But that also doesn’t mean he has to hit every move.

They just can’t whiff on a bunch in a row like the Celtics and 6ers did.

And even then those 2 teams are top contenders.
