Most of their runs were straight up the A gap esp the qb draw play

Outside of that the defense wasnt bad they got two INT but when you have all a day to throw doesn't matter if Gomes hagg dennard or prince are out there a qb will find someone.

The million dollar question can it be fixed in two weeks? If not by November ?

VV said he was getting double team so that mean they see pinching on him and running straight up the gap. But when we got spread out there only on lb to stop the.
With a three man front there still atleast two guys waiting right behind the gaps if they get loose in the 3-4 you will have someone right there.

Just something to try what was done last night wasnt and isn't gonna work. Your asking what ever LB to make alot of tackles in space not to mention our secondary is deep in coverage and can't stop the run

Agreed. The biggest flaw in our defense has always been that rather than set up the defenses for the talent we have, Bo has always tried to take his players and fit them to his defense. Don't think it's working. Square pegs in round holes.

Too late for that to be a good sign. Had two years in a top notch facility to get it handled. I blame Dobson and the nutrition staff as well. It's real tough to even look at the Kool aid right now.

I was in a bad place last night. I am so tired of games like this but I did hold on to that.

This morning I have looked at the schedule again and at least in the w/l columns we still look good.

By the time NW comes to town we should be 6-1. After that Bo and company I believe prove themselves or will be on the downhill side of the hill here at Nebraska.

We can still go 10-2 or we can go 6-6.


edit: I am betting on 10-2. lose tOSU CCG, loss bowl and wallah, Huskers are on par for another Bo season.

All I been hearing in the offseason from the coaches is "the system works, it's proven" about Bo's defense. Papoopies JR High level defense gets schooled in every aspect and sense of the term. Im real tired of watching us get totally humiliated because of poor coaching.
If JP doesn't know what to do then he needs to get the fuck out of the way and let someone else that does take over, he's in way over his yead

I honestly was happy with the fact that our guys up front on Defense were not getting blown off the line.....

It was the fact that they couldn't get off blocks that hurt us. That kinda thing needs to be coached and needs to be learned. The reason it looked like Wyoming was doing a really good job of getting away with holding the entire game is because their OLine was using perfect technique and our guys were not getting off blocks.
