With that said, Nebraska shouldn't have been challenged quite like that. It was not a good game tonight, that is a fact. We underperformed.....fact. Offensively we did some good things, Defensively we did very few good things.

But bottom line, we will know what we know after the UCLA game. Improvements may be made. Let's wait and see, and then start to melt down a little bit more.

Pretty much summed up the game

Ucla will tell us everything and that scares me

Bc what wyo did is exactly what ucla did last year
Motion still kills us easy crossing an slant routes killed us.

Offense looked alittle off and not explosive and that what really scares me i expected growing pains defense wise but offense was quiet tonite smith stole the show and almost the game.

Simplify on defense seriously bo it's clear they can't grasp it make it easier
DL was awful and put no pressure Gregory was nice tho. If we cannot create pressure doesn't matter how good the back and secondary is.

Guess the silver lining is we got a taste of what ucla will do so they know how to handle it but bo making adjustment will be the key and I don't trust that at all. Motion and full spread still baffles him

We won't have to wait until the UCLA game to figure out what our seasons going to be like. If we give up that much offense against So. Miss., figure about a 6-6 season. So. Miss. was pretty much at the bottom of the football pile last year, if they make a game of it, (seeings how Wyoming wasn't exactly a winner last year either), we're in deep doo doo.

agree defense needs to improve immensely. They've got to figure out something on the DL to stop the run. they are just getting manhandled in there. Now there also looked to be quite a bit of holding not getting called, that's one of the worst things about football is the holding on the line play.

i didn't think secondary was awful. They had 2 interceptions SJB was pretty darn good. I thought they were right there in most of their coverages, smith just fit that ball in some windows a lot of QBs can't which is even easier when your DL isn't getting any pressure. They took some bad angles and were horrible in run support, but they are always horrible in run support because they are looking at receivers and not the QB/RB.

My last point on this game:
The blueprint to expose bo defense is out wyo fans were talking upset on their board stating about the wisky game we laughed it off. But we still can't stop motions and teams spreading us out sideline to sideline. It was the mission of teams last year and it will be this year. Spread us out and attack with balance. Looking back at last night game it was on the DL... Not lb not secondary
