Samesies. I mentioned that in the Philly-Rags thread. I can't really critique crowds much because I'm not the fan you want at the game. I'm all nervous energy, so I sit on my hands. I'll mumble stuff to myself that I'm not happy with, maybe join in the chant, that's about it.

That is more than enough for me, unless you ONLY join it when you are winning like 90% of all Wing fans.

I never join the chant...

And that is why you will not beat me head to head in the Hoola Challenges.:suds: Just messing with you.

I am seeing I might just be an outlier. I would never have gotten the season tickets any other way though. The woman who transfered them to me knew how I was and how I would drop almost anything to go to a game with only an hours notice if she couldn't go.

I must say, 95% of the time I only clap the chant.

I've been to playoff games in both the forum and the bell centre... Insane. Montreal fans are intense.

^ On the arena front I witnessed a Pens/Thrashers game once at Phillips Arena. Sad part it was a good place to see a hockey game too bad not many people ever truly appreciated it.

Always time to put a jersey on! No excuse...

Except when you're flying from Dallas to Buffalo by way of Atlanta and your bag (with your jersey in it) ends up in who-knows-where (showed up two days later) and you're going straight from the airport to the arena.

/Yes, that really happened to me a few years ago.

And for the record, if you put a jersey over your suit...you're still wearing a suit to the game :yahoo:

Still, the point of bringing up the "suits" isn't what they're wearing, but how they're acting. :)

i really wanna go to a game in montreal as well. hate the habs and their fans annoy me, but a game there is definitely on the bucket list

i've got:
wells fargo center (back when it was the CoreStates Center though, freshly opened)
civic arena (pens)
hp pavilion (sharks, before they renamed it this year)
pnc arena (canes)

definitely want to add to that list
MSG, verizon center, consol, are 3 that i'd really like to go to as well.

Dead arenas:
Old Chicago Stadium
Old Boston Garden
Capital Centre
Spectrum
Igloo

Live Arenas
Verizon
Wells Fargo (It was called FU center then)
Nationwide
Gaylord (whatever they call that thing in Nashville)
Scotiabank (Ottawa. It's like named for tires or something now)
Honda (Was called Arrowhead Pond)
Nassau

I have been in, but not for hockey:
MSG (Some stupid Christmas thing a bazillion years ago)
Staples (The fabulous forum - Red Hot Chili Peppers show.) When was Staples built? Maybe it wasn't Staples. I don't know, this was 1989, and the building sucked.

Jobing.com in Glendale is a nice arena, too. Pity no one will be playing five years.

I am the same way. Kind of drives my son nuts, because I coach speak to him. "Did you see what Jenner did there?" "No".

My wife, on the other hand, is insane yelling at goalies for wandering and anyone who passes in front of the net.

ha, this is me with my son (who plays D). The answer I usually get is "Yeah, whatever."
