Yeah, I'm sure he's not going to take him out to not hurt Shero's feelings. Come on man.
So why keep playing Scuderi??

This why i said (in my post you quoted) that Dan might have orders from above to keep playing him regardless how bad he continues to play.

By not playing him screams, "we fucked up and should have never signed this 35yr old guy to a 4yr contract.

Shero, March 4th:

"It was a mistake to let Scuderi go on my part," Shero said, after he signed Scuderi to a four year, $13.5 million contract hours into free agency. "To have the chance at a do-over and bring Rob back, I think that’s a good day for us."

Shero even acknowledged at the press conference of the signing that giving term in a contract to a free agent is just a part of the game.

"If I only want to offer a guy a two-year contract, he's going to go to the next team for a four-year contract," he said. "We know Rob Scuderi. If I'm going to pass on Rob Scuderi because I'm a little worried about what he's going to be like when he's 38, I'm not going to get him."

I expect a good game from the Pens. They are inconsistent, but showed in the first round they can bounce back from a bad performance.

But the defensive coverage out front.... still an issue.

Watching the pre game stuff I never thought I would be happy to hear Jeremy Roenicks voice.

Well when it pertains to not hearing Milbury.

No Glass tonight, Gibbons in = more chance of scoring.

Gibbons is skating in Glass' spot with Goc and Adams.

You have to imagine the Pens are coming out with energy tonight so the Rangers have to match it they cant sit back and try to weather the storm.

Both need to be scratched, along with Scuderi.

I'm pumped for this one

I hate that call. I know they make it all the time, but the onus should be on the defenseman to push offensive players into areas where the goaltender isn't.

It might just be his style of play but Rick Nash always looks like he has the intensity of a wet noodle.

Fleury came up pretty big on that kill, it looked to me. Rangers' powerplay looked a lot more dangerous.
