I am not saying the Sox were not better in the reg season. I am just saying that Oak was good as well. Also that I could see them winning the series in 6 or 7 games.

They've got a COMPETENT manager this year instead of the walking definition of incompetence
they had last year.

Some of their new players have done well this year but Bobby Valentine would have found a way
to lose with ANY roster.

Ferrell has very little (if anything) to do with the Red Sox improving from 69-93 (and getting outscored by 72 runs) to 97-65 (and outscoring their opponents by 197 runs). The offense has improved significantly and the pitching's seen a huge turnaround.

Regardless of who wins, the Sox are in for a tough ALCS IMO.
