The pitching turnaround you speak of is really only a reversion to form resulting from Farrell
having a clue about when to lift tiring pitchers. Not-My-Valentine had ZERO clue on anything
connected with pitching. His notions on team discipline left something to be desired as well.

I will never object to any Red Sox manager getting MOY, but I doubt any of this year's other candidates
are following as total a nincompoop as John Farrell is following. Farrell has an unfair advantage
in that respect.
