The Bucs have shown up well for today's opener in Milwaukee. Let's win this series and gain some ground.

Yep we have to win this series.

We got beatup and had a terrible time, now we gotta make our move or miss the playoffs.


I cant believe Jay Hay took Pedros job, i would have laughed if someone told me that before the season.

locke had the oddest line.
not sure if he is nibbling so much or has so much movement on the ball, but each game he acknowledges that walks are the difference between success and failure, yet he gives up 6 in 6 innings.

we needed this one as gaillardo usually shuts us down pretty easily, especially in miller park. hopefully coles start and a rest day really infused them with some life and confidence.

marte's approach in the middle of the order seems so much better than when he is leadoff. even when he bats 5 and he leads off an inning.

what is up with polanco, just a rest with snider being hot, or an injury?

we have some lineup if they can all play to their potential.
then we have polanco on the bench with gaby, ike, stewart (who has hit well this year) and barmes soon.

not bad for the stretch run.

i am looking forward to lambo coming up and seeing if he can be an option if alvarez fizzles next year.

Those Pedro bombs were so impressive. Opposite field, and not cheapies. Man. When he's not going, it's easy to forget just how strong he is, but then he reminds you with home runs like those.

The first swing looked like he just kind of ran into it. But I think he got some confidence, because he really looked like he knew what he was doing with that ball.

Tough first for Worley. Very easily could have been 1-2-3, turned into a 2-run inning. Mostly soft contact and whiffs, though, so hopefully that's all they get.
