Pick the Podium: IndyCar - Houston- Race 1 (Sat)- Race 2 (Sun)

Here we go with the IRL races in Houston this week-end. Practice is today (Friday) and then there is Race 1on Saturday and Race 2 on Sunday.

For Race 1, I am going to go with Pagenaud, Briscoe, and Castroneves. Pagenaud has just been hot in all practices. I'll do Race 2 on Saturday.

Geez, these road course can be brutal in prognostication. The results demonstrate I have not a clue. Huertas, Montoilet, and Munoz. Must be Columbian day. At least an Andretti Autosport driver made it to the podium. I'll get my picks for Race 2 in tomorrow morning.

... But congrats to rookie driver Carlos Huertas & Dale Coyne Racing on the win.

I'll take Castroneves, Pagenaud, and Hinchcliffe. I agree on the method for picking. We shall see how it goes.

It certainly was a good weekend to be an IndyCar Series rookie! Two on the podium, although not the top step, again today.

Congrats to Simon Pagenaud on his 4th series win. We both get 1 point for picking him out of position, making our season totals so far:
