What the hell am I watching?

Looks as though nothing was changed so everyone's first choices are in effect. There was however, a whole bunch of controversy as Hamilton takes the win at the new Jeddah Circuit. Verstappen comes back from his penalty to take second, followed by Bottas, and Ocon comes on to take fourth.

I thought that track sucked.
I know it is a high speed track, but gonna have to many yellows wasting a lot of racing time even though it isnt racing really with next to no abilities to make passes.
Not a fan of this track.

Worst track ever.

Race Control was a disaster.

Max should be given a five place drop next time out for the brake check, or either one of his "oops, I ran wide again" attempts to knock Lewis off track. If they'd have punished him any one of the other 35 times he's done it, we wouldn't be in this mess. All in all, outside of that farce of a "race" at Spa, this was the worst GP I have ever watched.

Schumi was dirty but Dutchie sets new highs in lows.

10 seconds added to Verstappen's time

Should have been grid penalties next race. He brake checked another driver while in the process of being given orders to give a place back for an illegal overtake WHILE the stewards were deciding on a 5 second penalty for yet a different infraction.

Why are they so afraid of punishing Max? Are they afraid of Jos?

Well, it all comes down to next week-end at Abu Dhabi and Hamilton is bringing the heat. He is very good at that track as well.

Yup.

Verstappen won in a walk last year in a mean nothing race where Hamilton was on his first race back from COVID.

And they've changed the track a bit.

After his great drive today, I hope Bottas dies with his boots on next week.

By the way, this F1 season is fucking awesome! Edge of the seat stuff.

With the win today I had a mind for a victory lap in Panzerwagon but a salt truck went by and it was NFL Sunday so I curled up and threw a log on the fire and watched TV..
