Hamilton versus Verstappen Round Two at the AutoDromo Enzo Ferrari Circuit in Italy this week-end. The revised and unique rear suspension systems in the Red Bull cars this year are presenting headaches for the Mercs. Hamilton was the difference in the first race but he will have his hands full this week-end against Verstappen who is expecting another dominating qualifying effort. Get your picks in by the start of their engines on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Mazepin spins again LOL
final moments of FP1 he spins & wrecks out.
How often does he have to do this before a team would consider removing him?
Seems he has more days where he has spun in a car than days he has not spun in a car.

Surprising pace from Norris and Mercedes took only one race to figure out the stability problem and has regained form. Ferrari showing up big time too. Shame no one can pass on this track.

Pretty much the way they start, except there is is no way Red Bull will let Perez finish ahead of Verstappen.

So you guys that know F-1. Can you explain the rules to me.
When the red flag came out there was something like 7 or 8 cars on the lead lap. Hamilton went down a lap.
When they restarted after a red flag there was like 15 cars on the lead lap. (all the running cars but Haas)

How do they decide who gets a lap back & who doesnt? is it cars so many seconds behind leader or how does it work?

Also another question.
is the 4th (crew) guy on podium just from the winning car. Or is it for strategist of the race?
If it is the latter wouldnt you think that should have gone to Norris' guy?

I think it is silly the way they give laps back to the guys down a lap. The intent is to get them to the back of the pack to not interfere with race leaders and lap traffic, but in this case, it gave Hamilton a free shot back at the podium. Especially frustrating bc it was Bottas who was terrible all day, so pinching George worked out for Merc in the end.

Rep on the podium is a member of the winning team. Way to recognize someone of the winning constructor. The team makes the call who gets to go up.
