Getting down to the end of the season, the F-1 Teams leave Texas and go south of the border for the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday. Improvements have been added to some teams for the Texas Race and they will continue in Mexico as Hamilton's Merc served him well enough to lead the Texas Race for several laps. If the Mercs continue on their improvement paths, they may challenge for a win in the next three races building momentum for 2023. We shall see.

Toto wasn't overly optimistic about Mexico. But not as negative as he was about Spa.

Over the last 5 or so years (excluding 2020 when COVID cancelled it) that it's back on the schedule the RB seems to like the rarefied air more than
MB.

I think of the 6 races MB won 3 but 3 out of the last 4 have gone to RB.

This is a print race weekend isn't it? Hopefully MB who qualifies poorly can race their way to a better grid position for the race...

It wouldn't surprise me to see RB emphasize Perez this weekend.

Red Bull fined $7 million and has had their windtunnel time which was already lower because they won reduced by 10%.

There's one more somewhere though. Russell was saying last week about racing for a better starting position to offset their weak qualifying.

Looks like it is going to be another of those lame assed tire tests in P2 today.

They used to do those on off weekends and attendance was free. Now you have to pay to waste 90 minutes to watch that.

Yep. And Formula 1 has their own TV channel now for TV and streaming, so they charge a fee to watch practice.

Well I’m not gonna stream stuff. It’s an awful lot of effort. I know you’ll say otherwise but I love my cable. Up here we get what we get and then after that it’s a little bit difficult, meaning that some US services are not necessarily allowed up here. I’d love to see the champions league soccer matches but I’d have to have a fake VPN number

Verstappen leads P3 over Russell who has a fast Merc. This of course is before Qualifying soon to come. Perez and Sainz round-out the top four followed by LeClerc in 5th and Hamilton in 6th.

Interesting P3. Russell, 1.5 10ths up on Hamilton.

But both are 4 10ths up on Verstappen and the rest.
