So the first Quali has nothing to do with the sprint and the sprint has nothing to do with the Grand Prix? Cool, cool. All this was was a chance for more cars to break. And I wonder what it means for Parc Ferme. Like you are not able to change any parts out except like for like. So every team (Like Alpha Tauri) will need to make extra parts in the event something goes wrong. Verstappen's car was damaged too. Great for a cost cap controlled series. And competitively, it adds nothing. Nothing at all.

And nothing warms the cockles of my heart more than hearing Verstappen cry about someone daring to race him the way he races everyone else. He kept nudging over down the front straight and George didn't budge. Then he tried hard to close off the next turn and George forced him to decide whether they were going to touch.

The only problem I have with George doing that is he had no chance of staying in front of Max anyway.

If he'd taken Max out, fine. But just pissing him off for nothing doesn't make a lot of sense.

We all missed on Perez this race week-end. Perez may be surging and blowing by Verstappen as he clearly had the better Red Bull machine. Maybe this will be a story going forward and we will all know the answer when Verstappen starts crying-up a storm. We shall see how team orders will affect this competition in the future.

Going to hold off on crowning Checo until he can prove more metal vs Max on real race tracks. Today he got a lucky safety car (which happens on bot sides), and then did a nice job managing his tires on a stretched 1-stop race - exactly where he thrives. We’ll see if he can keep it up past these street circuits

It is crazy how far ahead the RB cars are of the field. I’m not even sure Baku is the type of course where they thrive.
