In a week, we shall see the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. This is a Sprint Race on Saturday the 28th. I don't know if F-1has changed the points payout for the top 8 or even of they have gone to 10 but I'll find out before the race and get back to everyone with the scheduled points. Like last year, you can participate or not and your picks have to be in before the engines start. Last-minute changing-your-mind is permitted (lol). Hope to see everyone soon.

Yea Obxyankee. That's why I am holding often announcing the points tally until closer to the week-end when F-1 may or may not post a points-awarded announcement for the Sprint race.

O.K. I'll post this now and then if F-1 changes the points awarded for the Sprint, I'll make those changes later. For the Sprint Race, 1st-8 points, 2nd-7 points, 3rd-6 points, 4th-5 points, 5th-4 points, 6th-3 points, 7th-2 points, and 8th will be 1 point. You can potentially score 36 points if you run the table. If you run the table you'll receive a bonus of 15 points for a grand total 51. This point system is only for the Sprints. When we go back to the Grand Prix, our usual points will be awarded to the top four spots with all rules in effect that we started the 2023 season with.

This is crazy this weekend. Qualifying and practice on Friday, qualifying and sprint race Saturday and the real race Sunday.

And I think they are all televised for me.

Talk about beating a dead horse with no flesh left!! We will use the Sprint race points system for the Sprint Race on Saturday and the normal points payout here on the board for the top four spots with the Race on Sunday.
