Yo, I am not trying to steal anything from anyone except their mommas.

This is your baby. If you want it then it is yours. I was just throwing out the offer to do it because people were saying you were out. It's all good on my end!!

I just took it over from BRS who started it. If it's easier for you to make events and tally that's fine with me. I will gladly pass the torch to you as I also have enough other stuff I try to do on here.

I still plan on participating in this either way. Let me know what you wanna do. If you need me to send you rules or anything let me know

Ok a few things before we really get this rolling.

First of all, I appreciate GBR graciously passing the torch to me.

I am going to do my best to pick 20 games every week. I am going to do my best to pick as few cupcake games as possible (not saying there were a lot before). How challenging do we want this? Like, can I throw in a big FCS matchup? Not saying that would be every week but if there was a big top 10 matchup and I needed to get to 20, would people object? I don't it to be too hard where people don't want to do it but we are all football freaks and I like a good challenge. The tiebreakers will be team stats and individual player stats.

I am not trying to make this too complicated, just trying to gauge how I will be picking these games since I haven't done it before. Any input you have GBR on how you selected the games is cool with me.

Doesn't matter to me. I just know the games where the Vegas line was close were always the most difficult to pick.

This. I usually looked at top 25 matchups but mainly looked at Vegas odds to find games that are projected to be close.

20 is a good number and what I tried to get but some weeks were a big struggle to find 20 close matchups. Probably why had some pretty no name matchups just to get more games in. FCS games fine with me as well

Please, no more than 20 per week. It gets real tedious after 20. I would be fine with 14 since that is the number of teams in the B1G.

Then, during the season, it is six or seven B1G games, and seven games from other conferences.

Any College game is fine. Division I, Division II, or Division III.

How about starting in week 1, you have the next week's Nebraska opponent and whoever they play. This will involve a cupcake game
Week 1 McNeese State cant do because Nebraska is their first
Week 2 Fresno State vs Utah
Week 3 Miami Florida vs Arkansas State
Week 4 Illinois vs Texas State

Why do I suggest this, so I can study the next week's opponent.

My goal is to finish not in last place.

I never look at Vegas lines so I will have to find a site for that kin of info. I am sure there are 1 or 2 sites for stuff like that.

I think I already have the 20 games picked out. I will say that the first week is going to be an extended week. The first game will be on Saturday, August 23rd with the last game being Monday, September 1st.

That means that the pick'em season starts in just over 3 weeks!!!!
