Who would it be? It can be either offense or defense.

Tough choice, but I'd most likely go with Darrelle Revis. This would make our defense nearly unbeatable.

Other candidates were Haloti Ngata, DeMarcus Ware, Calvin Johnson, and Joe Thomas.

That's a good question. I was thinking pass rushing OLB too like a healthy Woodley/Ware/Mathews. Revis is probably the guy though. I think you nailed it, cause we have a good enough pass rush that Revis could make really good.

I think Revis makes the most since like you said, but Jake Long, Calvin Johnson, and AJ Green are very tempting.

Revis/Joe Thomas/Ware are definitely up there. Polamalu should get serious consideration as well. I forget the exact stats, but the Steelers D allowed on average about 6 more PPG when Polamalu is out. Won DPOY last year, not to mention he's one of the most exciting players in the game to watch.

Troy polamalu. He would make our D scary good. A true play maker at safety who can patrol the open field.

Revis has got to be the choice.
A strong second would be Ware.
the 3rd is toss up between Joe Thomas and Calvin Johnson.

is this for one year or for the career? If age comes into play, Revis would still be my number one guy but the others would get changed up.

outside of qb, critical positions are LT, CB, pass rusher. we obviously have a huge hole at WR, but a healthy edwards would be sufficient given our offense.

our top recieving threat is davis, who is stuck blocking a good portion of the time. so i'd have to say LT, even tho revis would make the d amazing and could have the impact deion had. i'd wanna go with jason peters, but he's injured too much. so long would get my vote. then we could move staley to the right side and anthony davis at rg where i think he'd be a pro bowler. could actually turn the line into the best in football

giving up on Anthony Davis as a legit tackle already?

He's actually played pretty well the last few games from what I've seen, more so than staley for that matter. He seems to be progressing pretty good and is very young still. I think 21??

it isn't about giving up on the guy, its about putting guys in position to excel. we're a running team, if we can get a top LT that makes staley our top RT, which is an easier side to play. then RG is our weakest link, so basically it would be like two major upgrades

Haloti Ngata or Julius Peppers. Vic would line Julius up as a rush linebacker and as an end (3-4 or 4-3) and cause havoc. Haloti could also line up anywhere in our front four in either scheme.

I would vote for Ware.... him and Aldon attacking would be awesome......

Revis was close.... Megatron would be too easy :)

What a tough choice. Revis and Ware make the defense so much better, but it sure would be nice to have a guy like Megatron or Fitz where Smith wouldn't need to be thread the needle accurate since they actually adjust to routes and can beat double / triple coverage.

Hmmmm... I'm gonna go with Revis though.

I did think about that but every time Aldon Smith comes in he lines up as a D lineman so they play a 4-3 as uch as they play a 3-4.

so that would basically put aldon smith on the bench
