Because of Mayfield and Murray, throwing the ball around the yard is what people think of with Riley. But, check out OU's offensive stats the last two years. They run it a lot...of course they had a helluva offensive line, but they weren't as pass happy as people think.

Their problem was on the other side of the ball. They needed more help than weather could give them on that side of the ball.

It will be interesting to see what happens this year. They had back to back generational quarterbacks and now it's someone who knows how to win but isn't someone who can put up playstation numbers. They had to replace almost their entire offensive line but they return a center that's a first round talent. They have a WR and TE that are really good but have holes to fill which they did with an incoming all world receiver class.

They have to take a step back because of what they lost on their line and at QB but it might be kind of a baby step.
