Now this is the way we used to do it. Nice sac fly by Ruiz and Ruf scores. We are up 5-1. One on and one out. Galvis is up.

Brown went early and Galvis hits into the second out to get Brown to second.

Well, the Phils look like they want to play tonight. I got to call this early. I hope they get number 70 tonight. I'll be back tomorrow.

Nice deep hit to left-center and Ruf gets a double. I'll say it again. This guy should be playing everyday!!

Ruf will be punished for getting that double off a right handed pitcher. Ryno says he can only hit lefties. That is their excuse for not making a starter out of Ruf. Ruf always gets benched for having a good game.

Amaro wants him to fail because he gets on base. This is not a joke, Amaro has a mental ego disorder. He is a putz 1st class!

this offense continues to be a big pile of shit

and Franco sucks.............im sorry but he sucks. Just another overhyped Philly hitting prospect that can't cut the mustard

its sad when Ben Revere is your most feared hitter, just sad

You're too quick with the axe. 7 for 35 and .216 in ten games isn't exciting but Franco just arrived and he's been in and out of the lineup. He's only K'd 6 times. Asche started worse than that, and after one season he's now hitting .252 vs both LHP and RHP. I predict in the future both guys will be excellent. Ruf also is he plays more. Now if only Howard and Brown could sit for the next two weeks.

5th inning and it's SD 2-1. Interesting lineup for the series finale, no Rollins, Uley, Howard or Ruiz. So we have the young erratics and the young hopefuls. I sense a power outtage. I'd like to see some breakouts and we won't win unless that happens even if KK pitches a gem tonite. More suds please! :suds:

Doesn't look like we are going anywhere with this series. I just got in. Not worth watching this one.

That series totally sucked. Let's see how these guys do in Oakland.

You got that right, retro. Fans could go crazy trying to be patient while this team tries to become better. I'm still watching the games now and then to see any progress in the younger players.

That makes two of us, jvett. If I have other important matters to attend to like WORK, that is where you'll find me. Otherwise I'm catching the game to see if the youngsters and that idiot manager are making any progress.
