Lucas made the Phillies pay. Like I stated, everytime we intentionally walk a batter, we get hammered and Lucas was another example. Hollands is out, DeFratus in. I suppose Hollands didn't want to pitch today.

DeFratus serves up a double, Sizemore misplayed the ball in left field (he looked like a douche out there), and the Mets score. That ball misplayed by DeFratus now has the Mets scored again. We have given up three runs on bungling errors. We totally suck.

And still we have not got two more outs in the seventh. Sandberg has lost this team when simple basic baseball techniques are missing in these players.

Open the floodgates...you can't give major league teams more than 3 outs per inning, even lousy ones like the Mets.

They have a couple good pieces in the bullpen. Of all of them I think DeFratus is the most overrated. If anyone comes asking about him I'd trade him in a second. The good thing about the error is it kept his ERA from getting worse so maybe some team will take a look at him. Same for Bastardo, he has had stretches where he was ok but if his name comes up in any conversation I'd have no problem at all letting him loose.

Looks like I guessed wrong. The bad side of 9-2 sucks. I see Byrd is back and he left his hitting stroke at the plate two days ago when he had 4 hits. Ryno, go screw yourself. Yep, and throw Byrd on that list. No doubt the guy has been great but in the situation they are in they need to (for once) trade a guy who is near the top of his value. Also if he were to actually improve his power next year, after improving last year and this year at ages 35-36 I'd almost think he would be one random drug test away from being suspended

Frankly, I don't see the Phillies making any trades except some meaningless ones that will do nothing to get the dead weight out of team and not help the future. Yes - contracts have something to do with that but I also think Amaro will overvalue the Phillies players and want too much back (not talking about Hamels who I think they should keep and if they do trade him the Phillies should get back the world for him)
