I will pepper his comments with the fact he knows nothing about baseball sometimes. He just takes a look at everything with no perspective. He looks at yesterdays results from former Rangers as proof JD was wrong. ONE GAME of evidence....

Funny thing about that is of all the ex Ranger position players I think no one had more than 1 hit. Just an FYI. Edit-Smoak did but forgot about him being an ex-Ranger.

What gets me are people who look at former players. Hello this a Free agency league. Every player that wasn't drafted by your team had to come from somewhere...

I am waiting for all the idiots to say we should have signed Cruz because he hit the game winning homer yesterday. Oblivious to the fact that our current RF hit a 3 run bomb, hustled down the line for an IF single, and robbed a guy of a sure double. I love Cruz but unless Cruz can pitch forget it.

But nelly plays LF now and our LF only got one walk yesterday....

Harrison is going to start the Frisco opener on Thursday. It says he'll likely need a few starts before returning to the rotation. I wish the guys we have in the rotation would get the job done so we don't have to rush these guys back.

Marlon Byrd was 2-6.

Who thinks Choice will be in there today?
Wash would not start him against a LHP. Lets see now. What will do against a RHP? Yep he'll start him.

That's what I mean. Wash rarely does what I would do. As far as I'm concerned as long as Choice is hitting he should be in there. If he never tails off then MM is expendable.

having Choice not in the line-up yesterday makes me worried that he will not receive enough playing time barring injury and, in that case, he should have been in AAA until that point.

I am torn there. AAA isn't gonna make him any better or more prepared for the majors at this point. He's either ready or not. Just get him some playing time in the majors.

Ready or not means nothing to Wash. Who knows if he will see playing time in AAA or the big team. Just more bs.

I still don't see how that benefits him. I think Profar suffered more last year from being jerked around than he did from a lack of playing time. I think the role of UIF is better suited by a veteran who knows what to expect. That's just my thoughts though.

I don't think anyone is arguing your point. We just don't know what Wash will do. Agree to AAA if he doesn't get ample playing time. Riding pine will not help anything.

Knowing how much Wash loves to play his veterns, i say nope. Like somebody else mentioned unless Mitch gets hurt or JD tells Wash to play him, i don't see Choice getting much playing time.
