I said RIGHT NOW we look like a 3rd or 4th place team. Had you told me we would put up 8 runs on Lee I would have taken it in a heart beat. Unfortunately, they scored 14. Not sure what point you're trying to make with the injury comments since I've already said they have potential to be a good team once they get well.

Can't really make the 3rd or 4th place team comment based on 1 game, though the pitching was ugly. They could win the next 5 or lose the next 5 and and you still don't know what they really are. Time will tell but i would bet lots of cash they don't finish 3rd or 4th this season even with the injuries

Isn't there a possibility of Harrison being back by May 1st?

Date i remember was April 21st for Yu, Colby and Harry to all be back barring any setbacks

Going by memory but I believe Yu is eligible to come back on April 5th and Colby they have him starting 2 minor league games so that he will start for the Rangers on April 11th.

New day and another game. Hopefully things go more smooth today than yesterday.

I'm normally not one to make excuses, but I'd like to think that yesterday was just jitters and the moment being too big for some inexperienced people instead of a true indication of their actual abilities. Hope so....

Hopefully Perez brings the sanity back to our pitching tonight. AJ is one of those guys that can worry you so just hope he is not on his game today.

I'd say you're probably pretty close.

I bet I could put together a stronger team than the Rangers put on the field yesterday with players they have traded, released or ignored as they walked away.

No Dan Anthony, you couldn't, because the GM is hindered by what the Owners are willing to spend and also hindered by something called not being psychic. No one could have foreseen the type of injury landscape the Rangers have dealt with the last couple of seasons. I wish people like this jackass would stop watching baseball. I would rather Texas be horrible than have a bunch of fans like that around who know absolutely nothing about the sport but act like they are smarter than the GM and FO.

I think most teams could plug their name into "Rangers" and try and say the same thing. The grass is always greener on the other side. There is nothing wrong with this team or its future. Like you said, injuries like we have had last year and this year would saddle any team.

That guy is the WORST on ESPN. He was the one back in 2012 who said we should trade Hamilton, Holland, Olt, Profar, Perez, and Odor for Hamels. And he was serious.

His latest bit of expert analysis was to talk about the many shortcomings of "Leonys Perez".

He also says Martin Perez lets him self get too over hyped and that's what leads to his issues....I don't even know what that shit means.

He seems to handle what is going on out there with some maturity so not sure what he is seeing.

I will pepper his comments with the fact he knows nothing about baseball sometimes. He just takes a look at everything with no perspective. He looks at yesterdays results from former Rangers as proof JD was wrong. ONE GAME of evidence....

I am waiting for all the idiots to say we should have signed Cruz because he hit the game winning homer yesterday. Oblivious to the fact that our current RF hit a 3 run bomb, hustled down the line for an IF single, and robbed a guy of a sure double. I love Cruz but unless Cruz can pitch forget it.
