Pathetic. Phils were 20-11 April 30, last year. Suarez was 5-0, Nola 4-1, Wheeler 2-3. Early of course, and I'm thinking the team will heat up as weather warms. I have high hopes for Lazardo, Sanchez, Wheeler, and Suarez, when he arrives. Walker seemed to be improving.

Sanchez goes today in the last of the 4-game series. We have to win for a two-game split of the series.

Yep. Sosa comes on big and we split the 4-games with the Geeants. Onward we go. The Fish are in town tomorrow. We are a half game behind the Mutts and we should just bury the Fish but that is more about talkin' than doing.

Well shit! Turner and Harper have the two runs as the Phillies are up 2-0 on the Marlins. Harper has a homer already!!

Wheels gets the win. He had decent relief today with Banks and Ruiz doing the job.

Phils need to sweep the Marlins with Walker and Lazardo to get their confidence up before hitting the road for the Mutts and Cubs.

The Phillies bats have suddenly come alive. In the Third Inning this is what has transpired as the Phillies now lead the Fish 4-0:

Castellanos hit sacrifice fly to Right Field, Turner scored, Harper to Third Base.

Then Kepler doubled to Right Field. Harper and Schwarber both scored.

Stott leading off the order is looking better and better. If it continues to improve, then maybe Dopey has gained some IQ points.

In the Fourth, the Phillies lead 7-1. Stott doubled to Right Field, Rojas and Bohm both scored. Then, Turner doubled to Left Field and Stott scored!

Turner is 2 for 3 and Rojas is 2 for 2. I wish the Phillies played like this all the time.

Strahm is in early as Walker goes 4 Innings. Ends with an ERA of 2.29. Our pitching still needs help, especially in the area of the Relief department.

In the Fifth Inning, the Phillies added two more runs. Turner doubled to Left Field, Stott scored. Then, Stott singled to Left Field and Rojas scored!

Wow. There goes the big run lead. Hernandez steps in and bang, gives-up three runs. The Phillies now lead 9-4.

In the 7th Inning, the Phillies lead 11-4. A nice near-football score. Harper doubled to Right Field, Stott scored. Turner ended-up on Third Base. Then, Schwarber singled to Right Field, Turner scored, and Harper to Third Base.
