Wheels is done. Just gave-up a Double and another run and the Phillies have already left.

Way to go Wheels. ERA is now over 4 and the Phillies ain't doing shit. Wheels gives-up another run and the score is 0-4.

O.K. Looks like Strahm gave-up run number 5. What a complete pathetic baseball team this team is. Not worth watching much anymore.

7-0 Cardinals win
They take 2 out of 3
The 1st game and this third game were 3 hit shutouts

In this game Cardinals pitching retired the last 18 Phillies batters

Basically same line up that flamed out at the end of last season
Same manager same voice in the locker from last year

So I’m not surprised

I think the Phillies are going to wash-out early and then try to make a come back further in the season only to flame-out for good. Their Offense is horrible and the Manager is dumbass.

Nola and Wheels appear to be suspect. They can't pitch games like they used to just a couple of years ago. The win-loss records alone state the Pitching staff rotation is beginning to crumble. Wheeler is 1-1, Nola is 0-3, Luzardo is 2-0, and Sanchez is 1-0. When Wheeler and Nola have one win between them, this is not a good sign.

Coupled with a declining Offense, trouble is on the horizon.

I still have trust in Wheeler

Nola? Not so much

And Luzardo and Sanchez have been pitching well
Even Walker

Long story short - for me at least - the starting pitching is the least of my worries

My angst is brought on by:
- the anemic offense
- the spotty relief pitching
- Rob “dopey” Thomson

The offense - that is really killing me because it was very apparent after last year that this line up was broken and changes were needed
And during the off season…no changes were made

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

The Good: The Phillies didn’t get shut out. Somehow they scored 4 runs despite striking out 13 times

The Bad: Tajuan Walker completely shut the bed and looked every bit as the dumpster fire as he was last season. But wait there’s more…
The rest of the relievers didn’t look any better

The Ugly: The error early on by the Phillies accelerated the loss. The Phillies striking out 13 times. The called 3rd strike on JT (that ball was a mile outside). The overall play of the Phillies

I like the movie a whole lot better

This organization is going down the rabbit hole of Shat-the-Bed. What a mess. In the last 10 games, the Phillies are 4-6. They are now a game and half behind the Mutts and have a 2-game losing streak going on. I don't see them winning this series with San Francisco even though they are at home.

I doubt if I am going to waste a whole lotta time watching these turds.

If the Phillies lose again or all three againts the Geeants, the Marlins will pass them. Then Dopey should be fired because he is doing nothing different from last year.
