Some of things they have stated are identifying growing trends that should be addressed or we are going to walk into a shit storm as the season continues.
With three of our power guys gone for another week or more, we can expect hard times for the next two weeks or so. Next week, the Cubs then Atlanta and the Dodgers.
Wonder if there's a hot power guy on the Iron Pigs.

Other players already here need to realize, they can't hide behind the usual suspects. To use and overused cliche, they need to "step-up at the plate" and get hits to fuel the offense otherwise we may see Atlanta catch and pass us. Our Bullpen needs to stop dying in the late Innings of a game. It has become epidemic as we have gone 5-5 in the last ten.
The Phillies have already allowed the fish to start out like yesterday but the Homer and a run have closed their door. The Phillies had better score as many runs as possible early to cover our tendency to fade in the late Innings.
Just stupid to leave that many on base. We cannot have a one-run margin with the fish. They have beaten the Phils twice now with that same margin because we fade so rapidly in the late Innings.
Again, the Phillies better get a couple of say three-to-four runs cushion from the fish going into the 6th Inning or they will be setting themselves up for another loss to the very same.
The Phillies have had a long-standing history of leaving way too many runners on base in games during the season. That problem has never really been addressed directly and it always seems to bite us when we go through these extended periods of injuries. It certainly doesn't help.
