Baseball is the only sport where you can truly say....it ain't over till it's over. I remember my twins team with an6-0 lead in the ninth, two outs, ended up losing. Didn't find out until the next day because I assumed it was over.

The sad part is is this run through the playoffs by the Phillies looks like a one and done thing
The Phillies caught lightning in a bottle at the right time and just as quickly went back to their “normal” playing level
Too many holes in the line up
If they don’t make changes next year they will again hover around 80-90 wins and more than likely get booted from the playoffs earlier if they even make it

That's true of every team though. It's hard to make the World Series. It's even harder to make it 2 years in a row. We'll see what they do in the offseason. The run from this season will increase their attendance next year so maybe they'll get another top line starting pitcher from somewhere. Plus Stott should improve and Castellanos has to be better than he was this year
