It’s 1:30 AM. I can’t see enough of the reruns of The Catch and JT’s homer on the post game show. See you all later today for Wheeler’s gem. The Phillies have so much confidence after the win that I think they’ll come out of the gate on fire and win game 2, 10-2.

That’s right, retro. I kept making excuses all year after all the douchebaggery laden games, jokingly saying, e.g., “they’re saving it for the second half; they’re saving for September”; nope, they struggled to 11-14 for that month.

Then as a last resort, “they’re saving it for October.” And, look what happened. They are 10-2 in the post, and have ruined Houston’s perfect record by stunning the Astros in WS game 1 with the second greatest comeback in WS history since the Dodgers in 1956.

Philly is rocking. We haven’t seen this baseball excitement in over a decade. We can only be optimistic, now. Three more freakin wins!

Heck, maybe underdog #13 Penn State can knock off #2 Ohio State (-14.5) in Happy Valley this afternoon, to add to the ongoing insanity in local sports.
