There were so many opportunities once again squandered by the Dildoes. The most obvious is the Parade of Douchebag Pitchers with Robertson and Cyr giving-up three runs in the 9th. Until this changes, we ain't ever going to catch the Mutts.

There is no reasonable excuse for this loss. And just like so many of the humiliating losses this year, this team just will not make the necessary mental changes to become consistent winners.

Cincinnati comes to town tomorrow. We should be able to get two wins from that 2-game series.

We went 4-6 in the last 10 and we are now 8 back of the Bitches and 12 back from the Mutts. Pathetic!

If Canha doesn't get plunked his next AB against the Phillies for that bat flip then the Phillies are officially renamed the Pussies

Then again with the Mets having a 11-4 record against the Phillies this year this whole season has been one big bat flip right in the Phillies' face

I'm calling it right now - Phillies will win here and there along with losing and end up 1/2 game out of that last wild card spot - oh so close

And the dumpster FO will slap backs and shake hands and call it a "successful" season

Phils are now in line for the 3rd playoff spot. 1.5 ahead of the Brewers. To be honest 2nd or 3rd doesn't matter much. 3rd might actually be better if that means facing the Cardinals instead of the Braves. The Phillies top starters are better than the Cards IMO. And the Cardinals ballpark is much tougher for lefties to hit homeruns in than CBP, which works out well for Wheels and Nola.

If we are playing Monday morning qb, Marte is the guy they should have gotten last offseason but you can't turn back the clock so hopefully Castellanos continues to hit.

Looks like I missed all the "excitement" today. Got watching a movie after Bohm's second 3-run homer, felt the game could be in the bag , and forgot all about the latest pitching injuries and the Phils pressing need for a win to even this series. I saved my TV though because I might have tossed a bottle at the screen in the ninth. The team is bad and I don't think even Bryce can save us in September.

Tough loss but of course they have a shot. Still 1.5 games up on the Brewers. They're not as good as the Mets but they are good enough that they could beat them in a playoff series.
Anything can happen in baseball. Look at the Marlins. They haven't even sniffed a division title in their 30 year history but they have 2 World Series trophies.
