Nice win and we pull back to .500. Northeast, that obie wan reference was hilarious!
Thanks! Since I was tired and bleary eyed at the time I posted it, I took a look back and actually laughed at it myself! Get ready for the Phillies to have a winning record by the end of today!Nice win and we pull back to .500. Northeast, that obie wan reference was hilarious!
Phillies management is afraid of success. They saw they were at .500 and it's almost May and they panickedJust found out that Burriss is starting in left field today. Ruf to the bench. We lose the 1-2-3 power punch.
Wonder if Franco will see any good pitches today? Did I say Burriss was starting in left? How wrong is that?
I think Howard also has a longball in his bag of tricks for todayHerrera with 2 home runs today
They really don't want Ruf to be successful. He should be in there for a few weeks. Alright, maybe the killer B slackers Burris and Bourjos will come to life. This still makes me want to go after your mom. Phils win anyway 7-3
Yeah, I'm a buddy of Ruf's and we're suing the Phillies on worker discrimination (white 1B vs. black 1B). We're looking for a solid law firm to take our case. Do you know anyone?I agree jvett. This guy has been thrown under the bus so many times and they really should play him full-time. The Phillies appear to be trying to wreck this guy's career and they desperately need a power bat that Ruf could easily provide on a consistent basis.
I forgot to mention- Ruf lives in Arizona- I think the Phoenix area, so they would need to work around there. I know that restricts options but he's deathly afraid of traveling- all of his at-bats are just simulations of him in a hologram (which is why he only hits .220 every year- poor fucking connection in those damn mountains)Yeah, I'm a buddy of Ruf's and we're suing the Phillies on worker discrimination (white 1B vs. black 1B).
