Wow I was under the impression that 3 periods of shutout hockey = shutout. OT & SO shouldn't matter. just my 2 cents.

It went down as a shutout for Emery in our fantasy league.

I'll take these 5-2 wins, but these would easily be 6-0 wins if we had played a full 60 minutes and executed on the power play. I can understand though how difficult it must be to focus and keep playing hard once up 4-0 on teams like Florida and Buffalo.

This is not really of any concern to me. I think our boys are just somewhat bored with the regular season and ready to take on all-comers in the playoffs.

The Panthers are young, fast and play very hard, but aside from a player or two, they just don't have near as much skill. We matched their energy level and our skill took over, mainly in the form of G.

good win when youre supposed to. watched the first, kind of a snoozer, PP was horrendous. listened to the second on the radio on the way to soccer and it sounded like the flyers just demolished them. saunders and therrien stopped talking about the game towards the end and were just comparing good players.

I dont understand why more is not made of this garauntee in the media. Very few announcers have mentioned it all year. Gee back this up 100%

I think many in the media do not take the Flyers seriously and when that happens, they tend exert their own bias. We may not win the cup this year, but we may certainly get damn close and I like those odds.
