Voracek 13 21 34
Giroux 8 13 21
Simmonds 12 8 20
Schenn 5 12 17
That is the top four forwards at 5 on 5 this season. No PP points. No SH (for Simmonds that means two goals and 2 assists).
That will not win a decent beer league.
Konecny 7 12 19
Couturier 10 8 18
Konecny and Couturier (also one SH assist) are the next leading scoring forwards at 5 on 5.
Yes, Cooter has more even strength goals than Giroux. Both have more even strength points than Schenn.
Why are the Flyers sinking into the lottery? These numbers don't lie. This is why the +/- for so many of the Flyers are SO horrible. They can not score 5 on 5. Simmonds has always been a streaky forward who creates havoc on 5 on 5 and scores more goals on PP than even strength, but this has gone to the extreme. Schenn used to be a more reliable even strength performer for points. As for Jake and G. I am frankly tired of speculating.
