That's a dagger IMO. Not sure why but about halfway through this game it started to feel like a game the flyers absolutely had to win.

I don't know how Mason didn't shatter his stick into millions of pieces after that.

Fucking ugly loss - Nicklas Grossmann and Mark Streit should be nailed onto the fucking press box seats for the next game for their dumb shit contributions to this game - stupid fucking icing by Nicklas Grossmann and then a stupid fucking pinch in by Mark Streit that causes a turnover and a breakaway by Manny Malhotra

And to boot, a coach who benches his best player when you need all the offense you can get - fucking pathetic

I'm pretty sure Giroux played in OT. I know Meltzer said he didn't, but I'm pretty sure he did. He didn't deserve to though. I would've benched him.

Very frustrating. The way Mason is playing right now, that should've been a 1-0 shutout or a 2-0 shutout with an empty netter. Fucking terrible.

It especially hurts because we not only losing a point, we're giving away two extra points to a team that we're already behind and need to pass.

Peters was good, but clearly still shaky. We didn't pressure him enough. Mason continues to be rock solid and deserved the shutout. His team failed him on both goals.

Bottom line, you score a go ahead goal late in the third, that has to translate into two points.

I think there was more than just an injury to Giroux's index finger. The way he's playing suggests that they're hiding something. Thought it was just a conspiracy theory this offseason, but no way Claude Giroux goes from top flight superstar to what he's become this season with just a golf related injury to his index finger.

Giroux looked like his feet were in cement on that tie shot by Staal. He just didn't get to the pass by Staal's brother or at least try to steal it and take the puck out of the zone.

Yeah, he really looks off his game. Almost as if he didn't practice or workout at all while recovering from his surgery to his index finger. It just doesn't look like the same Claude Giroux we've been accustomed to over the years, neither physically nor mentally.
