ASU before KSU.

Ya I suppose. But doesn't KSU have a reloaded team with experienced line and QB.

I Need to study more.

I know the Sun Devil faithful are really down on their chances this year with losses on the defense. Also the loss of Grice. But Steele may just be really high on QB Kelly and Jaelen Strong.

Both teams have very good coaches.

I bet we find out tomorrow.

Which would leave SoCal top 12..... TF12!! , Trojan Man ,963, and the rest of Troj fam are gonna be difficult to deal with.

You would think that ASU would be in there ahead of K State. #14 for TCU and ASU with all those personnel losses from last year potentially in his top 13? Interesting.

KSU lost to a Division TWO last year didn't they?

They beat who they should have and lost to who they should have. The 5th best team in the B12 isn't gonna get much poll love.

eh I don't know, Tech is getting love right now and they sucked donkey balls last year. Some of these analysts don't do a lot of research

Ya, you are right. Most analysts don't do enough research. Not the case with Phil Steele. He works his butt off on these with a ridiculous amount of analysis. Maybe even at times over analyzation.

Not down down like "We're gonna suck". We might score 50 points a game- But we might give up 30something. Top 15 seems too high, but out of the top 40 seems ludicrous.

Its going to be KSU. Won 6 of lat 7. Return a senior QB. Lockett is one of the best play makers in the country at WR. Defense is young, but Mueller had 11.5 sacks last yr and is back. 2 All-Conference OL.
ASU is going to be a WAC team. Offense will score and score, but the defense is in real trouble. Just 2 returning players. I really cant imagine either being top 13 though

It's a pretty explosive offense. ASU scored 50 plus six times last season.

Steele picked first, second, and third All-Conference teams for the AAC, so I assume he does the same for all conferences. That would require an amazing amount of research.

Not sure if this has been touched on yet...

And really not sure if I give a fuck honestly...

But how in Parseghian's name does Florida get ranked above texas?

Did Tebow find another year of eligibilty under some child's scrotum?

Because of their explosive offense.

I like Steele's mag but I tend to skip the first part of each section. he starts by talking about the star at the position from a couple years back. Such as for Oregon he might talk about Masoli, thomas, Bennett and then finally get to Mariota.
talk about Blount, James, Barner, DAT and now finally Marshall and Tyner at running back. .
I feel like last season into this season is enough.

12th is probably a little too high and they have serious depth concerns thanks to the NCAA fucking them over for one singular, selfish player's transgressions, but I think they're going to be pretty tough this year. They have some nice momentum and Sark is a good coach, better than people give him credit for in my opinion.

12th is too high for us right now. We might be there at the end of the season, or even top 10. But with the depth issues at certain positions, that is too high to start. A couple of injuries at key spots and we could be in real trouble.

12th is definitely too high for USC, they're going to need a year at least before being that good. Depth is too much of a concern also against a very difficult Pac-12 conference
