It's starting to not look good

Texas is solid, but not top 25

no way Florida should be that high after the year they had last year

we're not a top 25 team right now

UCF just lost their QB and RB and they weren't that much above the teams in their conference, they're going to drop off a bit.

20 is too low for Stanford.

Now 27 for Northwestern is interesting, I'm not sure how much these politics their players are involved in is affecting the team.

I like the Stanford call. They lost a ton. That was special group of seniors that played a lot of games together. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they ended around 20. I get Florida and Texas. There is enough talent to end up in the top 25. He'll, I am a Texas fan and have no idea what to expect this year.

This is the first year that Steele genuinely doesn't like Nebraska. He always overrates us, so hopefully he's finally underrated us for once.

I can understand having UCF in low 20's. With an experienced WR corp and 10 defensive starters returning, don't be surprised if we see a repeat performance of last year.

Nothing wrong with Texas in the top 25, they still have a ton of talent.

I can't understand Boise being in the low 20s, not this coming season at least. Although Harsin was once the OC there and there's some familiarity, it is a new coaching staff and new system. The starting QB is gone along with the two if not three best offensive linemen from 2013, two of which were NFL draft picks. Some key defensive linemen are now gone, including second round draft pick DeMarcus Lawerence who was an absolute beast that the Cowboys traded up for. This was a five loss team and while the MWC is better than the MAC, Conference USA, and Sun Belt, it is still a less than spectacular conference. Boise's secondary was a mess and when they did play P5 type teams, they pretty much got drilled last year.

Not trying to be negative, just trying to be real. This team is a couple of seasons away at best from getting back to being ranked consistently.

So that means he either has ASU outside of the top 40 or inside the top 20. Either one is a stretch right now IMO.

Well from the data that he has supplied thus far, I can tell you that he is at least 32 spots off.

I know Stanford lost a lot of players but unless the HC left the vets in the whole game all the time they should have some seasoned people returning.

Stanford at 20 seems pretty low. They lose a lot, but they've still got plenty. Secondary should be good, Tarpley and Anderson are still there. Pretty sure Vaughters is too. Montgomery and Cajuste are a really good receiver duo. I assume they have a running game because that's what Stanford does. Maybe little Sanders gets to play. Andrus Peat might be one of the better LT's in the country. Hogan was overrated last year, but he doesn't suck. I think it's a lot more likely they're top 10 than in the 20s.

ASU knows that Stanford is strong as well as anybody does. Got smashed twice by them last year. Dominated on the offensive and defensive lines in both games and Taylor Kelly got the shit kicked out of him and was running for his life. I was at the PAC CG and it was bad, really bad.
