It's a fun game, but I have no delusions. When I was playing my best, I could routinely shoot high 70's on a local easy course. I had a buddy out of Shreveport that played a couple of years on the Nike tour, and the 1st time I played with him, we went to a course that is just brutal. I played great, shot 86. This goofball shoots 66. I'm talking no mullys, play it down 66, and the guy was just fooling around. I was like, "why aren't you on the PGA tour", he said, "Man, those guys would come out here and shoot 58-59 without breaking a sweat"I think it was more a factor of a crappy course (that may or may not have been accurate on it's scoring) and an insane amount of luck. I played all 3 rounds on the same course (it was called 9 and Drive somewhere in NC) and I doubt it should have been a par 32 like it claimed, but I really don't have any other courses to compare it to so i can't say for sure. I also seem to remember the holes were in slight depressions, so putting was way easier than it should have been (the hardest part was getting the ball on the green). I didn't keep my own score, my buddy did, so I only know what he told me.
2 over par on 9 holes? Was it par 36 or 27? That's actually pretty damn good... Especially if it was par 36
I was telling Ritz the wife is out of town and stuff is getting hectic around here... I'm posting this from walkers phone lol... Pick is in
I really have no interest in doing a Hockey draft, but if that's what you all wanna do i'll still run it...
