The provocation came when the player in front chopped Stolarz with a two hander then did a great acting job of making it look like he was going to die.

Doesn't really matter, you can't swing your stick at someone's head.

This was actually game 4. Rimouski sweeps the series.

That should be awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping Union ends up plays Boston College so we can see a Ghost vs Gaudreau show down

Hockey's Future has ranked Laughton and Morin as the 23rd and 38th best prospects, respectively:

23. Scott Laughton, C, Philadelphia Flyers
Height: 6-1, Weight: 178

Back in the OHL for his final season of eligibility, Scott Laughton has done exactly what the Flyers had expected from him when they made him one of the team’s last cuts. He already has five games of NHL experience from making the Flyers’ 2012-13 opening night roster, but he has since excelled with the Oshawa Generals. This season, the Oakville, Ontario product has found the back of the net 40 times in 54 games while also adding 47 assists – both career highs.
Given his NHL experience and leadership abilities – he has captained the Generals this season – Laughton was also chosen as the captain of the Canadian World Junior team, but posted only one assist in seven games. His offensive capabilities may not be enough to land him on a first line in the NHL, but with the ability to kill penalties and play a sound, two-way game, he should have no problem making an impact for the Flyers in the near future.

38. Samuel Morin, D, Philadelphia Flyers
Height: 6-6, Weight: 203

Morin has size, physicality, and plays with a nasty streak. The 6'6" blueliner lays big hits, battles well in front of the net and along the boards in the defensive zone, and will drop the gloves to stand up for his teammates. He is a good skater for his size, a shutdown defender with strong positioning that uses his long reach to cut down the passing and shooting lanes. Though he does not project as a big offensive force from the blue line, Morin has improved his outlet passes and his shot from the point.
As a big lanky kid, he needs to gain more muscle mass and there are some normal skating issues with his reverse pivots, edgework, and footwork agility. Morin has top-four potential and should be a good defensive defenseman that is going to make life difficult in the Flyers end of the rink.

From what I could tell from the phantoms tweeters, it looks like hagg handled himself pretty well. Couple of scoring chances. Tough to tell though, phantoms twitter is crazy positive haha

This is a pretty sweet opportunity for the kid. To be able to play in the frozen four at the exact arena that you hope to make your home in the Nhl asap. He almost has to go pro next season after this.

I've thought about it, but the Flyers have me even more emotionally invested than usual. Both frozen four games of course are on days we play. Ghost will be in preseason games anyway :D
