Can a guy who has only been top 5 in passer ratings 3 times in his entire career really be in the conversation for GOAT? I'd have to say the answer is no.

Can a poster who talks about passer rating be taken serious answer is no. Wood its cool you sticking up for Manning cause he is a clone to your boy Favre. 20 years of playing and 1 SB win. You guys like your stats 250 games for 60000 yards wow ohhh weeee

Probably the best argument you've actually made. A losing one....but I'm sure you knew that already.

You're right. The best way to judge individual performance is to ignore their individual performance and instead concentrate on whether they were carried to rings on a stacked dynasty team with one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Not gonna bring up the numbers.....you might cry more than u already have. Let's just say Cassie had better numbers than Montana......yeah, he played in a pass happy era, but he never threw to the greatest weapon of all time!

"I'm not gonna bring up numbers but 'Cassie' had better numbers"......

This....THIS is the best you can do?

Heh.....

Next?

One thing I do know..Pats fans fear Luck like they did manning. Pats fans can cry all they want, but no nfl coach goes for it on 4th n 2 in their own territory winning a ballgame. You know how I know peyton is the greatest?

Yeah we fear both Manning 5-11 and Luck 0-3 Like the kid that gets beat up all the time and he tells everyone 'you better watch out next time" 5-14 like Brady;s Patsies

Touche.....and Brady is Aikman. ...won a bunch doing nothing, but once that talent left, he hasn't won shit! 10 years my guy! 10 years! The Super Bowl argument gets less and less relevant!

Let's just say their debating style is "fluid."

"It's all about Super Bowl wins!"

"Which Tom hasn't had in a fuckin decade."

"Okay, playoffs then!"

"Right, did you see the AFC CG?"

"How 'bout regular season? College maybe?"

Sure just like the guy who says but Peyton had 400+ plus yards vs Pats after being down over 20 points or threw 30-40 when down 30 points to Seattle. They are called junk yards and D plays bend dont break. Brady has more td and les sint in both playoffs and head to head, You do realize Belichick was fired from Browns and went 5-11 and 0-2 w/o Brady. He only won 1 playoff game w/o him.One of greatest missed the playoffs the year before Tom and the year Tom was injured

He ALWAYS gets pulled from blowouts and sat out the final 2 games of a season after they had wrapped up home field advantage. Come on now.

You serious? Lets look at pass attempts for the last three years for Peyton. vs every other QB on the roster.

This year Peyton 353 attempts, everyone else 6
2013 Peyton 659 attempts , everyone else 16
2012 Peyton 583 attempts, everyone else 5 yes I said 5, obvious Peyton had no problem coming out of games, and certainly isn't padding his stats.

Brady has still been to 2 SB's and 3 AFCG in a row since then . Your guy should thank Caldwell for dropping 3 and the D for helping get a Lombardi with the 3 td/7int performance and Grossman too 9 years ago

Of course not. He's just not in the same league with Peyton Manning. He doesn't pass the eye test and if God forbid Rice had ever gone down, he'd have been pedestrian at best.

Manning has a better postseason stats across the board than Brady, but with not as much success.....gee I wonder why? Beck I think Brady beat the Colts last year without throwing a TD pass........Luck got picked off 4 times......is it his fault? Maybe......but Brady had zero to do with that. ...hahaha

Nope, but the Super Bowl rings are not the reason I think Montana was great. Guys like Montana, Brady, and Aikman were all gifted absolutely ideal situations.
