I've got to hand to Peyton Manning - not for how he played yesterday, but how he handled the questions. He talked about how he got to feel like the sub -QBs in the past felt when he got all the reps. When asked about the fans giving him a standing ovation - he mentioned it was probably the same fans in the same seats who booed him at the KC game. He downplayed his role in the game - "for what? Handing the ball off?"

Peyton Manning is still growing as a person - and you can't asked for more than that from anyone - usually those steeped so deeply in success - don't show personal growth and humility.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Osweiler poking his head into a Manning Nationwide commercial around Super Bowl time.

After rewatching the 2nd half, I have changed my opinion.

Manning's legs look healthy , he was moving great from center and getting his legs into the throws.

I am now 100% on the start Manning bandwagon.

I still like Oz starting he is extent in bad weather And teams cannot squat on the field . Oz played good enough for that to be a blow out .

Some fans have questioned whether or not Manning was ever really hurt. It will be interesting to see whether he throws the ball better now that he's reportedly healthy. Personally, I think that's likely to happen, since I have a hard time buying that his foot was never really hurt.

So you think the boot was a prop? He does look healthy for a guy for a foot injury. Who knows.

I've had plantar fasciitis and it gets a little better or a little worse, but it's always there. So I'm not positive that PM will ever be totally over that again.

LOL No. I think the exact opposite ... that his foot was injured and that that injury probably contributed to his poor play over the first half of this season. Add to that the fact that he finished the '14 season poorly and again injured (at least "allegedly") and as you say .. "who knows?".

Which one ... that Manning is working his way toward self actualization or that Oz will appear in a Nationwide commercial?
