It just shows how the refs do go one sided for teams and players. So many if us complained about it over the years but this, the auger incident and some behaviours of refs drives it home, they are biased and always will be.

It's the beer league nature of the sport, at least in Canada. Refs are too personal with coaches & players. Swearing at each other, nicknames, etc... It's almost impossible to stay unbiased with the level of interaction they allow.

Let's not forget Dan O'Rourke calling Erik Kalrsson a diver. He's never really acted like that and once Ottawa's coach called him on it the refs have fucked the Sens since.

The officiating I've seen this year has been some of the shittiest I've ever witnessed. Damn near game in and game out.

Nevertheless the officiating in the NHL needs a serious revamp.

There are pretty obvious biases out there and nothing is done about it.
