All this draft hype and in a week (like every year) there will be plenty of surprises.

I’d actually rather draft Lock though. A one year starter from a program and coach who’s historically lacking in producing QBs who’ve succeeded at the NFL level...I can see Haskins having a flash in the pan season or two and quickly fading away. (NOTE: I’d consider it worth it if it brought the Broncos another Super Bowl win, but I doubt it will.)

Lock was a 4 year starter in a very tough conference. He improved every year and because we have Flacco (forgive me) locked on for now we’d not need to rush Lock into production. I see him as a better long term option for the team.

want is all we can do. It's not like we have a ton of choices. I'm not a huge fan of Lock, but Id survive. I doubt SS would get a tantrum from me.

It's not like we passed 6 times on Rudolph this time or anything...

Really like now I think it ends up being Lock. But I think someone could fall throwing us a curveball.

I'm hearing Haskins is falling down people's boards.

I think one of the main reasons (that I have not mentioned yet) that I would not be thrilled with us taking Drew Lock is the fact that EVERYONE has been saying how much Elway is infatuated with him ever since Hebert declared that he was going back to school. I'm not saying he should be tight-lipped or throw out smoke screens or get caught up in the game people play this time of year, but his thoughts shouldn't be this public during this time of year.

I'll take QB this year I just think FO won't this year in RD1 because they will give Flacco 1 yr before future guy is on roster.
