I don't want to draft a QB this year has more to do with the players then then who we have starting. I would actually like to see us trade down in the 1st round to stock pile some draft capital for next year unless someone falls to us that we can't pass up. Next year's class seems to be better. Only time will tell.

I would say that I like Lock the best out of the 1st round QBs. I am no QB whisperer though.

A very Cleveland philosophy. ;)

Is there going to be any scenario where we end up with Quinnen Williams? That’s all I want to know

My practice would be take the mid-round QB the Broncos think has merit - see if you get lucky - and if not - get the Big shot college QB next year and slide the mid-rounded to backup QB - when Flacco is ready to cash out.

So you are assuming no one picking ahead of us next year will need a QB. Got it. :)

Better QBs available next year - If you need a top QB - you can put out the resources to get to where you can make the pick. But, I don't have to tell you that because you've "got it."

I think the questions are as follows:
- How much do we like Drew Lock or Dewayne Haskins compared to the Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert?
- I am assuming that we like Tua and Herbert better but if we finish 8-8 for a mid 1st round pick and we need to give up our first in 2020, 2nd in 2020, a 1st in 2021, and maybe another pick to trade up into position for one these 2 is that worth difference in the player.

If we feel Haskins or Lock are board line franchise QB and feel Tua and/or Herbert are a lock to be a franchise QB that makes the compensation worth it.

Then you go into the Lawrence pool for 2021 where the compensation may get really crazy. 3 or 4 1st round picks may be in play as a starting point.

Leta just suck for two years and take Trevor Lawrence #1 overall in 2021.

If Denver takes a Qb before rd 5 , their idiots. Like Mingo said the time for your " potential " franchise Qb is next year. Meanwhile Fangio will concentrate on SB 50 D and serviceable O under Flack till 2020 . By the way..... kiss my butt boys ;) ( specially Walker ) I know he misses me. ;)

OR..... maybe we can pull a Colorado Avalanche move, and trade for the 1st rounder of a team destined to really SUCK the next two years:yes:

I have seen where we had Lock in for a visit. Have we had Haskins in? Not that it means we aren’t interested if we haven’t. Just curious if anyone has seen that we have had him in.

Yes - and he wore an Elway jersey. ;)

Also had Murray and Jones in for visits, so had the top 4.
